Damn it's good to be a Raider.. ...

I think there is much to be excited about:
-We are in better salary cap position then we were a few years ago after the Superbowl.
-We have a young team, which means chances are players are more likely to be realizing their potential and getting better in the years to come.
-A big reason for our poor season last year can be traced to "incompetent coaching," which can and has been fixed with the release of all offensive coaches.
-Half the team is playing at an elite level and with continuity under the tutelage of Ryan.
-Our first game is against Detroit at home and one of their QB's is on our team providing a huge advantage and insight into their players and schemes.
-Moss is gone!!!
-Porter wants to have a breakout year.
-Curry is at 100%
-Gallery wants to save face.
-Jordan took a pay cut.
-Burgess is Burgess.
-Sapp is the anti-Moss.
-Norvell is in SD
-Bush is sitting on ice...

Raider Raza at Rickys for Draft day

Hey Everybody,
Rickys with Raider Raza was a blast on Saturday. See Photos Here

The event was a private event hosted by Raider Raza and put on collectively by the Official Raider Booster Clubs: Bakersfield to Vacaville. The event is held annually and tickets must be prepaid from a booster club. This year the event sold out with over 500 people;all prepaid! The tickets were $25 they included a BBQ, raffle & draft day collectors item (see photo)

Raider Raza provided the music, 10 players (Shweigart, Sands, Whitted, Lee, Slaughter, more) were there signing autographs and mingling with the fans, Raiderrettes were there taking photos. Gorilla Rilla, Barbarian, Shieldhead, Elvis, Senor RaiderMan and others were in attendance taking photos and revving up up the crowd. While Rickys did have extra chairs and TVs, thee event had a tailgate atmosphere with canopies and outside BBQ and restrooms on the asphalt.

The crowd went nuts after the Russell selection and people were having drinks, dancing and mingling with the players and Raiderrettes and taking pictures with the Raider characters like Gorillarilla who never has met a camera he didn't like.. Brady Quinn was a big joke through the day with people wondering if he would ever get drafted or if the Raiders would draft him with our second pick.

Go Raiders..
