Raiders v Niners Report

It was a great day in Oakland. The Raiders dominated for an entire game. It was fun beating up on an inferior opponent the whole game. Then again it's the Niners and I heard last week, De La Salle (high) gave them a run for their money in a scrimmage until they pulled their starting quarteback.

During pregame warm ups Moss does extra things like catch more balls and run. Moss is very animated and shakes hands and talks with everybody on the offense and defense.

Lechler looks like a LB and when he kicks the ball it makes an impressive deep whoosh sound. A thinner SeaBass was connecting for 50+ yards in practice. Our kickers can kick your kickers ass.

Turner and Stubblefield parked in the cheerleaders parking lot and were met with a bunch of "you suck Turner!!!" as they walked to the parking lot.

Porter Watch: Someone in the black hole yelled "Porter are you staying or leaving?? and he turned around and shook his head and did a defiantly little backward strut;Moments later he stood a good 20 yards away, while the rest of the team huddled together for a pregame huddle.

During the game the DEFENSE is noticably fast and swarming. Raider football is going be exciting with this young opportunistic defense.

Huff looks and plays like a young Woodson. He gets in on many plays and it was good to see him make a big play and almost run into the endzone. Too bad he got stopped by the QB.

Even though Brooks looked better and finally sustained a drive, scrambled for a big gain and scored, he underthrew Moss and overthrew several other receivers and should have been picked off. When the line protects Brooks, we need Brooks to hit his targets.

Walter put up better numbers going 8-10 for 99 yards and scoring on 2 drives. Walter has an extremely nice touch.

Grant Irons is a beast. In limited action every game he manages to violently hit someone.

Gallery and the line played much better and held up well against some blitzes.

When the Raiders went for it on 4 and 1 in the 3rd quarter the stadium lit up with a good energy.

It was a dominating win against the worst team in the NFL so I won't get too excited, but it was great to see noticable improvement all around and hear the slow RAIDERS chant.
